You got thirty hours out of O:A?

How?

I count in total.
But for the first time I got around 7 hours.

So recount, first time I went into the DLC I got:
O:A - 7
Pitt - 3
BS - ?5?
PL - 12
MZ - 7
DM - 9

you shure take your time for me
O:A 1 hourz
Pitt: 2 hourz
pl:30 minutes
m: 1 hour 30 minutes

Wow, you rush too much man, should take it nice and slow and take in as much as possible.
I mean, 30 min for PL?
It's the biggest one. O.o

Expansion Packs could be better

More quest, more side quest,

New Monsters, armor, npc, encounters, places, etc

We need to bring back the Expansion Packs

Due to the time it takes for them with Honest Hearts I'm starting to think it might just be 1200 or 1600 MSP DLC. (half-expansion.)

Well, sure I would love a real expansion as well but the most we can hope for is big DLC's.

I do agree that the death of the expansion pack in a lot of games leaves something to be desired.

Fortunately, RTS/TBS still seems to be holding strong with them.

You got to remember obsidian is a group of people that made the first 2 fallouts so the ending is going to be different and if not they are probaly lying so when it acaully comes out they will get more money i meen i wouldnt want to tell people that there is going to be a billion dollar addon because i would want to keep the suspiction. also go to this website to see why the story line might not continue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVBrfkeC9Pg&feature=channel_video_title

Wait.. what. You didn't save once before the end of the entire game? wtf? :/
Doesn't the game like tell you that you might not be able to continue. Who is to blame here?

Anyway, yeah, I wish there is DLC in the future that allows you to continue. That they can't just make it any DLC. The DLC needs to advance the plot after what happens. Characters in the world need to act different etc. It's not that simple.

Ok - so you guys who dont want extended DLC why are u even commenting on this topic ? are u just trolling?. Yes we need a DLC that will continue this game. Didnt the devs think we would want that? sad. Guys we always want more and we always want to have extended play time. We create charaters and we want then to live on. Dont you get that still?

Umm, no we're not trolling. We have an opinion that is different from yours, and that opinion is "no we don't want a Borked Steal DLC". We have every right to post in this thread as you do.

Ok. So you get to play after the end

You complete the DLC.

You complete the few sidequests that aren't closed down by a related faction being eliminated during the final mission.

Then what?

yeah its completley pointless. why would they just let the game end like that? there are so many more side quests and stuff after the main quest but u cant even do them becuase the game just ends!!!

I found that very true for fallout 3, but not so much for New Vegas, I did every side quest i could think of before finishing the game, and all the side quests being faction based made them all feel like they weren't divorced from the actual story themselves, unlike the 16 side quests from fallout 3 (pardoning the trouble on the homefront quest) But back to what i was saying the side quests in New Vegas all kinda felt tied into the whole story and if you were able to move past the battle of hoover dam, the quests would feel kind of silly since the battle for hoover dam was over, just my thought :). Try a playthrough like mine, I think you'll agree

I agree, a DLC/expansion that let us countinue the is needed. I want to see how the Mojave turns out if House/Legion/NCR wins. And I mean, if a doctor in a liitle town can save you after you got a shot in the head I think you character would be able to be saved one way or another ( dont spoil how he dies, havent finished the main quest ;) ). Or maybe im wrong?

You know what we need?

Expansion packs, like Dragon Age: Awakening as an example.

What exactly would there be left to do, especially with new quests? Nothing. Nothing logical anyway. I was happy with the slideshow ending. It needed to end there. I've completed the main story once and made other playthroughs to fool around on and roleplay with. I completed the main story siding with Caesar's Legion, what exactly would a post ending DLC accomplish? Like Broken Steel? The NCR makes a last gasp attempt to take back the Dam/Mojave and is ultimately quelled, ala BoS and Enclave. What's the point of that?

We are commenting because we have a different opinion to those who want to be able to continue playing. Just because someone disagrees with your opinion and posts with their opinion does not mean that they are trolling, both viewpoints are equally valid to each side.

No we do not need a DLC which allows post main quest gameplay, although having said that, the fact that those who want to continue playing want one does not mean that it is 'needed' but is wanted at least by a portion of the games playerbase.

With regards to the comment about wanting to create characters and them to live on, yes we get that but have a disagreement over whether it requires post main quest gameplay to do so. Some of us are quite happy knowing that the main character 'strode off into the sunset' having succeeded in the main quest and don't 'need' to continue playing the character to 'know' it.
