I have just bought a full DLC pack from Steam for Fallout New vegas, but it has caused a problem on the game. I can not progress into any of the new quest areas as it is under the impression that i have someone with me when in fact i am alone. It has meant that i cannot play on any further. Anyone got any ideas ?

The latest patch adds two terminals, one in the bottom floor of the Lucky 38 and the other attached to the front of the Gunrunner's shack.

These terminals allow you to dismiss any companions and were actually introduced because of the problem with the DLC.
