It would be awesome to see some new beast races or some or the originals returning, A dlc pack for them would be a insta buy for me! You could also do a half daedra half human character or something like that. :3

I reckon there are plenty of races to chose from already... although I'm a svcker and would probably buy any DLC Bethesda released.

This isn't some game that you can randomly throw in crap races. If there were any other races than the 10 current ones, I'm sure we'd already have them in Oblivion or Morrowind.

And any 'half daedra half human' thing would be instantly killed. If not that, shunned and disliked, and definitely no 'Hero of Kvatch' or 'Champion of Cyrodill'

The only other races on Mundus are on different continent and the only other continent known of is Akavir, which the last contact was a long ass time ago. Even then the only contact with them was with the sharp end of a broad sword.

Or you could spend ten minutes in the creation kit and make them yourself.

Or you can wait a few months for some one to make new meshes and textures to go with them.

Or you can use some mods that have done this already by importing them into the game.

I don't see too many people spending their money on something like this.

If your new to any forum, especially one that is dedicated to a game with strict lore and such, you should do some researching on what your suggesting/asking about before posting it on the forums.

Things as key as races should never be DLC, that sounds like something that EA and their new lackeys BioWare could pull off; but I expect more from Bethesda.

I′d rather prefer that the existing races differ more in their appearance and stats than getting additional races not rooted in lore.

First off: You can't/shouldn't attempt to install any mods onto your Xbox 360 for any game let alone Elder Scrolls.

Anyways, i don't like the idea of races being a DLC. All the races should be in from the start, and Bethedia is smart enough to know that races are easily made with the CS. As the person you insulted said, in 10 minutes and a few textures and meshes you can have a new race, rather than pay 2.99$ for one.

This thread really needs to be locked and garbaged.

In all seriousness, yeah sure, there's plenty other races in the world of Nirn, but as people have said, its lore breaking. No need to be so rude, even though people did jump on you for suggesting it, just no need to be so defensive. Maybe learn how to spell "maybe" as well...

I agree, after reading his other posts and his new account- i smell a troll..hes insulting everyone for everything.

Guess what kiddos if you keep the same races game after game then the storyline ends up getting stale after awhile and if you introduce new characters you can introduce new storylines,new weapons and armor that those races create,New areas to explore,New types of spells,New pretty much everything. Bethesda isn't some [censored] love child that couldn't blow their own nose without help they can introduce new things into the series THEY made without screwing up the lore... You keep whining about lore and the fact that new races would screw everything up. That just makes it look like you have no faith in bethesda at all. Way to go!
