i would like to see more multiplayer co-op shooter games that focus on story line game play. PVP is ok too but theres only so much i can play BORDERLANDS to get what im wanting out of shooter games.

Believe me, I hear ya brother. It's a trend that's incredibly frustrated me in recent years: I know shooters like Battlefield and COD are based on multiplayer and that's where their heart is, but if your going to have a single player campaign could you please at least try. If it's gonna be half-***ed or just monotonous just leave it on the cutting room floor and move on. Oh well, as you rightly said there's always Borderlands and my eternal love, Bioshock.

On topic though, this game needs a new gamemode desperately. Combine that with a solid amount of good maps and we may be able to breath life into it yet.

you know what would be a sick map - two container ships close to each other and us leaping on them trying to capture and destroy the opposition team completely

I like the idea of two Offensive teams, each completing their own objectives while defending their base at the same time.

Battlefield 2142 had Titan battles where teams each had to destroy eachother's Titan (spaceship-thingy), while Star Wars Battlefront 2 had Space Assault, which was basically battlecruiser-on-battlecruiser.

Possibly (building off other suggestions) both sides controlling ships, each trying to sink eachother and keep themselves afloat.

On a semi-related note, I think it might be a good idea to do a few more What-If style out-of-continuity missions and maps for gameplay's sake.

Co-op has been pretty awesome, try that. The bots also seem more challenging IMO, could be just me.

Let's just let SD deal with the lag and texture problems first then we talk about DLC
