DLC Rumors

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 8:02 pm

Ok I'm unable to post links on my phone so when I get home I'll edit and give it.

ANYWAYS! Rumors are circulating that in future dlcs we will be able to travel to Morrowind and Cyrodil(sp?) These rumors are here because PC players can enter the clipping command and travel to these areas. Empty they may be but Vverdenfall and Cyrodils capitol should be there.

Entrances to these areas are marked by a man-made gate with an invisible wall blocking your way to enter. This topic was found on gamerant forums . If anyone wouldn't mind posting a link to it for me I would appreciate it

Credit goes to: Divinity

But yeah this would be sick although isnt Vvardenfell like effed up? Explosion and all that?

I WILL say this though, I'll buy any freaking DLC they're making for this game. I LOVE SKYRIM.

You're right, Oblivion had that same thing too, but it also allowed for a huge and fairly fun and well done mod that opened up the deserts in Elsweyr. I can't wait to see where modders take this in Skyrim.

Red Mountain erupted, yes, when an airship crashed into it or something. Not sure about that. But it was covered in ash and forced the Dunmer there to flee, which resulted in the building of the Shrine of Azura near Winterhold.

Regarding the DLC though, I would love to go to mainland Morrowind. We've never been there before, so it could be really interesting if they do it right. Cyrodiil, not so much. It would be interesting to know what happened after 200 years but I'd rather return to Solstheim or maybe even Atmora.

Hmm...we shall see, I suppose. It's kind of exciting thinking what they could do.

Mainland Morrowind would be cool, and it could fit in with the storyline. Or even the parts of Hammerfell or High Rock that are rendered in. So much to look forward to either in DLC or modded content with that.

Looking at the map you can see distinctive paths going to Hammerfell, Cyrodiil, Morrowind, and High Rock. So either huge DLC ideas or just a tease for console players and huge modding endeavors for PC players.

 If it is future DLC.

I don't know about entire provinces, but I do hope for DLC that's more like New Vegas's Honest Hearts and Old World Blues...maybe an Isle of Artaeum DLC or a small sliver of Morrowind as a DLC etc.

Im just excited for whatever they do I agree with you all, I truly haven't been this addicted to a game in a while..I just love the possibility of perhaps venturing back to Morrowind or at least part of it or anywhere for that matter

TBH I'd say Bethesda have been on a winning-streak for DLC lately, so I'm quite excited to see what they do, my guess is possibly another Daedric Realm (would be cool) or a small area like half of summerset isle.

I hope they let you returne to the island in the Morrowind : Bloodmoon DLC. I loved Raven rock and really like helping to set-up the comunity. The East Empire company is already in solitude...so why not? I wouldn't mind a DLC that let you go to the Island the piijic order live on, or even one where you get to but-heads with the thalmor. either way, here's hopping for atleast 1 DLC the size of the shivering Isles...

I just thought of a way to get to Solstheim...you get a job at the East Empire Company in Solitude and you get shipped out to Solstheim to help out in the mines.

Also should point out that some house DLC's wouldn't be bad...if they were cheap. Battlehorn manor was cool, but it would be nice if you could actually run a small village around a castle. It would fit with the general feel of the land, imo. Something like "invest in guards, or set budjet for farming" would add some depth to the game world.

Sounds good simple yet makes sense, and yeah I would love to destroy the Thalmor there such [censored] bags every time I see one they try to throw some sort of insult my way so dispose of them for what there worth...

Wouldn't be strange, and somewhat contradictory, to go to Morrowind in a game called Skyrim? Pretty sure the 'it's for the mods" is the good one.

Heard that the first DLC will be about all the members of the thieves guild being were-horkers and starting a war with the companions though. I'd tend to believe my really good sources on that one.

I hate to be the one to say this but they already have games for that. I don't think it would work in TES the way I'm imagining it, although I guess with some tweaking it could work.

I seriously doubt that they would make content outside of Skyrim, if so it would be in cells like Shivering Isles or Oblivion Plains, as someone have registered http://www.theelderscrollsonline.com/ and that might be Bethedsa them selves.

I want legitimate full expansions to Skyrim, I'd buy every single one if they slowly pieced together Tamriel, the Dragonborn has a lot of potential in both character and lore, you could simply end up following Tiber's footsteps in Conquering Tamriel once again.

I think Bethesda could just get away with polishing Skyrim and it's Engine while expanding the game like this, instead of an Elder scroll's 6.

No stranger than going to Wayrest in a game called Daggerfall.
