No DLC Scripts?

Post » Sun Aug 09, 2015 8:48 pm

Wanted to try tweaking the Dawnguard Rune Axe script so that the enchantment resets less frequently, but I kept getting the error that it wasn't found. In the Data/Scripts folder, there's no DLC scripts at all. All the info I found about this is that I should be able to find them under the Data/Scripts/Source folder, but it's not there, either. Both Skyrim and Creation Kit are all up to date (I own them through Steam, after all), but I've been unable to find anything remotely close to what I'm looking for.

Can someone help me out here?

Thanks.

For some reason they've put the DLC source scripts into subfolders where the CK doesn't see them. You need to move or copy them up a level into the main Data\Scripts\Source folder from the Data\Scripts\Source\Dawnguard folder.

The problem is that there are no folders in Data/Scripts/Source.

With one of the last updates bethesda changed the creationkit distribution so that all the scripts are packed into a file called 'Scripts.rar'. That is where they should be hiding.

edit: same folder as esp, esm, bsa files or .\Skyrim\Data\

Ah, forgot about the Scripts.rar file. That was what I was looking for. Thanks!
