Wow Crytech stop screwing me over!!!!! I bought spent $300 on a new GPU because I thought this game was going to have DirectX 11.... NOPE!!!! This game isn't even using DirectX 10 like the Crysis 1!!!! No its using DirectX 9 way to take a step back in technology. And you don't even have a SDK. NOW YOU TRY TO MAKE ME PAY FOR MAPS WTF!!! All of this should have been in the game before you released the game! All of these maps are from the campaign so it isn't like its anything new!

There is DX11 patch(doesn't work on Windows 8) and a Hi-rez texture pack. Search for them. Also, true, no DLC servers from EA, and the DLC were taken offline sometime a month ago.
There is an SDK, It's the CryEngine 3 SDK which you can find at crydev.net.

I am not fighting it, just objecting the misinformation. The author of the thread is likely talking about the official DLCs, which has maps(and more weapons) that can be played on ranked servers.

The "Free DLC Project"(as it should have been called) are custom maps made by members, which can only be played on unranked servers.

Ah. Right. Well, this is true then:

@OP The official Crytek DLC is not available for sale, and almost certainly never will be. Regardless, there was never anywhere to play it in any meaningful way.

I think Blutaar666's post is far more likely to lead to a happy customer.
