DLC shouldn't take so long to come out

I want to believe that... they are trying to stabilize game (by fixing glitch/bug) at the same time DLC is released.

DLC will cause it`s own glitch.. and I am sure Bethesda is finding tons of glitch as they work and develop DLC contents.

Uploading Patch to PSN and XBOX is rumored to cost like $40000 or something...

so they probably want to get things done right for upcoming DLC and patch if they want non further scrutiny about Fallout 4 being kinda underwhelming title.

Fallout 4 console sales dominated over PC version.

I am sure Bethesda cannot just ignore console players and keep the game run so unstable and criticized.

They want the Fallout 4 to reclaim the throne Fallout 3 and Skyrim once had, right?

They better not fail us with next patch and DLC..

Dlc should take as long as it needs to come out for high quality work.

yeah dawnguard was my favorite part of skyrim, it really beefed everything up, strong vampire enemies, a really good questline, very good followers, especially serana, i love the dawnguard questline, some new areas just outside the map, i thought it was well done, i think we'll also get some new weapons, like in dawnguard, new armors, clothing etc, new enemies, yeah its gonna be pretty good i think.

I'd like a DLC that turns FO 4 into a RPG. The sooner the better.

It won't happen though. You'd have a better chance with someone modding a complete overhaul.. Which is precisely why I prefer the Creation Kit.

I was able to get through Skyrim after I got 50+ mods running (perk and leveling overhauls, ENBs, dialogue, etc.). Unfortunately, without having NPCs having half silent and half voiced lines then it'll be almost impossible to salvage the wreck this time around with their voiced PC and dialogue system.

Bethesda will probably just say, "Wow that was too complicated for them, how can we simplify further?"

I can guarantee you that if you don't think Fallout 4 is an RPG as it stands, DLC can do nothing to change that.

You'll just have to be patient OP, it takes time for Beth. to download and merge all those mods off Nexus into one esm. :P

I'm more curious how DLC is going to work given the lack of any sort of level cap. Going to be difficult to balance things so everyone gets an enjoyable experience.

Same way it works in the vanilla game?... and in Skyrim's DLC?... In fact, I'm pretty sure Bethesda will add a bump to the upper tiers of their leveled lists for the players that have leveled into the triple digits.

I don't and it could(will they? prolly not).

2 words. Bullet Sponge. Not like vanilla is balanced, anyway. Anyone with a character that has hit level 20-25 or so is having a cake walk unless they self gimp themselves by not taking perks or using any legendary gear.

I hope we get more experimental mini-dlcs this time around, in the vein of Hearthfire. The DLC bolting extra content onto the game world is the obvious step, but id love to see Bethesda flex their creative muscles and see what new gameplay they can think of.

One thing that comes to my mind is a DLC based around fixing up a ship of some sort and sailing around a set of coast lines meeting all sorts of crazy local societies and doing that classic Bethesda thing of exploring their lands and society. I can think of mods that add sailing ships for Morrowind and Oblivion, going across the base game world, and there's a mod pretty similar to my idea that allows you to sail around the sea of ghosts and get into some randomly generated encounters.

I think that The Commonwealth is lacking in some interesting encounters with several small towns or groups that add immensely to the flavour of the game without being major players. Think Oasis or Republic of Dave, Fallout 3 was my favourite for that.

I am more worried about them fixing the game first... the beta has been ugly... breaking more than it has fixed.
