I bet they were working on the DLC for least 12+ months, even before the game was announced, I'm impatient for news, the game needs more content for those who have finished the Main Quest and wish to play on.

i am not so worried about any dlc except for the creationkit
realy why is it taking so long we do not want it tomorrow nor today we want it yesterday
if they want the hype to continue we need that creationkit
Patience. All good things take time.
I personaly hope its still... 2 maby even 3 minths to the DLC. Iam about 250 hours into the game and have discoverd about 1/3 of the map. So maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany hours still left in the main game:p
I'm just glad the DLC isn't a Disc Locked Content which never ever deserved more money to unlock.
The longer it's in development, the better it will be. That's my theory anyway...
I really just want the G.E.C.K. to finally drop.
I've nearly cleared everything, yet my "shopping list" on Nexusmods is ever growing. Blasted console gaming existence.
I think it should take 6 months before paid content is added to the game. Enough time for the Devs to have worked on their own art work and story for a DLC but they should focus on fixing the bugs in that time rather than just moving on to more cash grab. Plus they can get an idea of what people liked/disliked and produce a better DLC that would sell better.
Agreed, i hope it will be a summer release actually and we can get something as meaty as Dawnguard in terms of content and quality.
Fallout 3 was released in late October 2008 and had its first DLC (Operation Anchorage) released in late January 2009. Interestingly, the stuff from Op. Anchorage was prefixed "DLC2" in places, with the stuff from the 2nd DLC; "The Pitt", actually being "DLC" prefixed.. So it seems that The Pitt was originally meant to be released first, and that was released in March 2009, it's probably too early to expect any DLC just yet.
I would actually rather get the game patched so the majority of quests and already existing content work as expected, then the GECK and after all of that is sorted then DLC. I don't want them to raise a flag on a ship with a hole in it I want them to plug the hole....
after 300 plus hours in the game, im in now hurry to get DLC. =P
Actually I guess getting the GECK out first would be fine too. I run unofficial patches on FO3, NV and Skyrim so if nothing else the quility modders in the community will be able to fix some of the lingering problems I'm sure. There really arent that many either compaired to previous games. So I'll revise my list of wants to GECK first. Not that I'm not looking forward to new content. Heck, I've already purchased the season pass thing.
I know this is wishful thinking but I hope they make DLC similar in scope to Bloodmoon for Morrowind.
Also, Witcher 3 has had some REALLY great DLC and the next one coming out is actually rather big.. Something like 20 hours? Bethesda: please take note of how DLC is done right.
Something I keep forgetting too is that I didn't really like the DLC for Fallout 3 other than The Pitt I felt like the others were fairly lackluster. Fallout New Vegas on the other hand had great DLC but that was a different company. I'd really like to see bethesda take their time and make high quality DLC that really add to the story that the game is trying to tell.
I really, REALLY doubt that they've been working on DLC for 12+ months. That'd be very poor ethics from a studio who dont really have to listen to a corporate interfering heirarchy like EA or Ubisoft. The games not been out for 3 months and you want DLC already, thats just silly.
I am still checkign the forums for DLC news. I uninstalled Fallout 4 a month ago at the 120 hour mark from sheer boredom. (a part of those 120 hours were with the game paused with me tending to my kids if they woke up, so probably more like 100)
The game has a serious lack of interesting content, and a lack of interesting ways to go about doing it. I am hopeful for the DLC... but mostly for the CK. (CK was release almost 3 months after Skyrim's release, if that matters)
for fallout 3, Anchorage was release 3 months after the game's release. For Skyrim, it came out 6 months after. we're not in previously uncharted water here, but Skyrim kept me entertained for those 6 months, and well beyond.
