Post » Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:59 am

ok, before all the people in this forum get worked up and lock this thread, NO. vie looked all over and theres no thread on ideas for the delay... so shut up...... moving on : i was thinking today (thats were the problem starts...) and i suddenly think i realized why its taking so long for honest hearts to come out! ok, you know how every dlc came out for xbox 360 first???? then like 2 months later, for ps3 and pc. is this because it takes longer for ps3 to approve on something???? because if it is, then THATS WHY ITS TAKING SO LONG! every1 was mad at bethesda for the delays on ps3 and pc, so theyr waiting for everything to get approved so they can release them all at ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so what do u think am i a genius or am i a [censored] ing dumb a$$?

That could be the reason but they must have screen shots or something to show us, delay ok, but give us some news

If it's going to be short like the Pitt or OA, then I will be deeply pissed :brokencomputer:

you beat me to it. :(

As for this thread, i'm certain they are slaving away working on DLC content. I'm personally hoping for some iconic weapons that add replayability in the sense they would make you play or build around them.

Some sort of overpowered explosives weapon
Some sort of overpowered energy weapon

Hopefully they are ironing out the bugs so what happened to dead money doesn't happen to whatever this one is (most likely honest hearts)

My bet is bugs. We know that adding more to this engine just breaks it. I'm sure they were gunning for an early March announcement but the bugs and glitches hit and they are trying to squash them on all three platforms at once.

If it's delayed because of bugs and glitches then I'm fine with it but at least come out and say so. Maybe don't give a release date but at least show some screen shots and more information about the DLCs.

i went with bugs ill be happy to wait as long as it takes for then to be the best they can be. bethesda or obsidian if you need me to ill take the 7 hour drive down and play it and be a key adviser on whats dumb and what rocks. ill also be sure to filp out if it freezes or gets choppy while im there you may want to put me in charge of hiring and firering the writers. tech peoole i dont know enough about it so i better not be in charge there. also if you need some more voices i ll do it cheap because it seems like 7 people did voices in the whole game you got black people with white people voices and vise versa. it can t cost that much to get some people to talk. i can even do a few voices. i can help out ill work cheap

They want us to squirm a bit.

They better take the time to debug. I don't want a gamebreaking DLC.
No more VR pods or Aliens please. I hope there ill be more than one Pointlookout esque expansion.

Big empty sounds well Big, so maybe. also the Great divide sounds big too.

New Kanaan is to be a to be a town of Mormons so I hope it ill be open range probably Pitt like though.

They don't have exclusivity on any other DLCs than Dead Money.

I am hoping the download will be so epic that it will make Shivering Isles look like the horse armor DLC.

I highly doubt they are building hype/ waiting for the 'go ahead'

A lot of people are losing interest in FONV, if they are waiting so long just to build up hype then that would be a bad marketing strategy.

this isn't looking good, not even one screenshot or one tidbit of info since last year...lots of people have gotten bored of the game, and i can't see how they would further make the situation worse by not even doing anything to spark more interest in the game...the only thing that could fix this is if they put out a huge dlc, open area that also significantly improves the main map environment, especially when it comes to random encounters.

Microsoft paid for the DLC to be released to the Xbox first, but from what were told it will now be released all at once on all consoles.

They're obviously not building hype. If anything they're losing customers because of the long wait period.

Getting rid of all the bugs is closer but still not likely. They been working on these DLCs since before the game came out, plus Dead Money had nothing wrong with it on my copy.

If the DLC got put on hold the only thing I can think of is a dispute between Microsoft and Bethesda about a contract. I'm sure all the DLC was ment to go to the Xbox first.

Are they releasing all the DLCs at once? No. I don't think I need to explain that.

I really am not sure for the delay. I honestly wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer if they would just release some info. already, this is just ridiculous.
Maybe they're going to release a large expansion like we've been telling them to do, who knows?
But what I do know is that I'm on FO3, not tempted to touch NV in a while.

After doing some research I noticed all fallout 3 dlcs were released about 2 months apart from each other. PC and PS3 only got the DLC on feb 22nd so we have until around april 21st-22nd. however this will probably conflict the the Gears of War 3 beta and seeing as how the Beta is basically free more people will be playing that rather then Honest Hearts. The only thing that could possibly make me think on not playing GOW3 during the Beta period is if the new DLC is in the BIG Empty and has a pretty B.A. trailer.

I'm putting my money on the fixing the bugs so there wont be any buttraging from people about the bugs, crashing & freezing and things like "ARRRAGH! i r mad cuz i keep crashing *bad word* bethesda need to get their *bad word* together" over all i really don't mind the wait because it lets me work on my file where i'm getting all the companions endings so im good. :)
