Dog Town, yes, Vault City, no.
No point in going back to old locations when we can have brand new one's instead. (IMO)

I've said it before, but if we go back to old locations, they should be ones that appeared in Fallout 1 but were not revisited in Fallout 2. That way we can see all of the immense growth that took place for them. I prefer new places, though.

I hope the expansion packs don't fail as bad as the Fallout 3 expansion packs, I'm sorry if you disagree with me but I was not a fan

Although I would again love to see the Utopia that is Vault City, I'm not sure what story could be told of that area. FO2 had it in a cold war with NCR, it likely folded into the rest of the NCR.

fallout 3 had dlc not expansion packs

- a religious-based add-on with utah... a very heavily influenced mormon area that is begging to be ruled by the dictator of the wasteland...

- big game hunting in oregon or colorado would be a fun add-on...

- area 51-style location that has ties to mothership zeta (blah blah i'm sure it's been talked about here)...

- what about exploring bits of los angelas or hollywood?? maybe try to bring some talent back to new vegas from hollywood...

- a wild-west style add-on with arizona... also more backstory to the ceaser's legion who started in arizona...

- seattle perhaps?! :D... if you can travel to point lookout from DC, you can find a way to travel to seattle from vegas... a place that rains radiation 24/7 would be a challenge and fun...

that's all i got off the top of my head... i am sure i could come up with more, lol :D...

I'm not a big fan of 'revisits' ideas. Especially the the thought of revisiting those [censored]s in Vault City.

I'd rather it be new, adding as many new locations to the Fallout Lore as possible.

The State of Deseret can be a whole new faction. Trying to encompass the original proposed territory.
And yes, Area 51.
Is there Wild West type stuff in the game already? A whole Tombstone type of DLC would be cool. Become the sheriff and have the shootout at the OK Coral.
Would Reno and Lake Tahoe be the same as New Vegas? it would be cool to have a Loch Ness type monster in Lake Tahoe, or a whole underwater city. Or is that to close to Bioshock?

I'd like a DLC where we play as a completely new character in a vault just 20 years from the Great War.
Would be nice to witness the gradual downfall of a vault in person.
Of course, I want it to be bigger and take place during a decade.
Each time we complete a chapter of it it skips ahead a couple of weeks/months/years to chapter 2.
And then so on until chapter 5 where it all goes to hell.
Of course the skills needs to be redesigned for that DLC since we aren't playing as The Courier.
So take away Energy Weapons, Explosives and Survival.
This is a really quick pitch of what I had planned up in my head.
But it'd be nice to actually see what went on in a vault until it's downfall.
And I do not count Vault 101.
Because it was all just an annoying training area to get to know the game, it's mechanics and HUD better.

Didn't really like it because it was to limited.
This DLC on the other hand would be a lot more loose.

Eh, I can agree with that, Vault 101 had alot of locked off areas, which doesnt make sense in my opinion, alot of lost possibilities. I really wish I could have gone in that Vault 101 Cigar Lounge. :sadvaultboy:

I want to continue as the Courier for any DLC/expansion, so I'm not liking the vault idea.

Acctually there were energy weapons in the vaults... Did you skip the G.O.A.T young man?!

I'd rather they went to new places than returned to old ones. Not because the courier wouldn't go back West, but there is a big BIG country to explore. Let's see more.

But would it be a viable skill to choose?
At most there would be like 2 weapons, laser pistol (civilian issue), home-made flamethrower and maybe... Juuuust maybe... A laser rifle.
I just don't see it as a viable skill to be taken if it's going to take place inside a Vault.
It's not like the Vault is going to have miniguns and plasma casters in them yknow.
Just basic guard weapons, scrap weapons and home-made weapons.
So what the hell, let's just skip Guns as well and just have all three (Explosives, EW, Guns) in one skill: Firearms.
A skill solely dedicated to this DLC. (Or any upcoming DLC which takes place in a role besides the Courier.
Would make more sense since the DLC isn't meant to have the PC reach lvl 30 anyway.

Please. Please! I want MotherShip Zeta II DLC. You don't just write something into a DLC that tells us the Aliens caused the Nuclear Apocalypse , and then not expand on that. Please.!! There are many many aliens and civilizations to bring in through a DLC
