DLC Times

Post » Sat Aug 13, 2011 11:39 am

Alright this annoys me just a little, I thought all FNV DLC would be out by now, I think I remember reading some information on falloutnewvegas.com about how Lonesome road was suppose to be out in July and Old World Blues was suppose to be out in June, this bothers me that the new DLC isn't out, and once again I am dissapointed with the FNV creators hopefully F4 will be way better and they get different people instead of Obsidian or whatever their name is.

Ur a bit late. They claim that the latest patch took more time than expected. We all know it's a marketing strategy. Just like how the patch for HH was finished but they didnt release within 2 days.

Yeah I never saw that, still though the only DLC that had a lot was like OWB, the rest had pretty small story lines, I beat all in a matter of hours. With the F3 DLCs I'd want to go back and play them time and time again, but these don't keep my attention for that long so they need to have this last one down as the best one they make or I think all the DLCs won't be worth buying. (To bad I've gotten all 3 already out.)

You know most companies for most products often fall behind planned release dates for things for many reasons. I find it kinda comical the amount of people that get really wound up by something like a month wait. Either way they still spend their money on the DLC. Almost as if peoples whole lives evolve around Fallout. Big deal you have to wait a few extra weeks it's not the end of the world.

Soulvak is totally right. Just calm down and enjoy the Mojave B) . There is always something you can do, even without DLC.

As soon as we have a release date for Old World Blues, we'll let everyone know.

Initially, we have Old World Blues slotted for June and Lonesome Road for July. As the schedule shifted, Lonesome Road will not be coming out this month. Given today is the last day of the month, you probably already knew that.

....Old world blues?
I thought it was released already? DID I GO THROUGH A TEMPORAL TIME WARP?!?! :shocking: ((Actually, they probably just got so used to saying that to complainy people that it's become second nature to type 'Old World Blues'))

Is it safe to assume that Lonesome Road will be coming out in August? Or is it more likely September?

I'm sure LR will come out late August. In the mean time: it's Summer FFS, go to the beach or read a book. Or both.

Not really, once you have done all the quests the game doesn't give you much at all to do. Well nothing to do actually....

It isn't like with the Enclave where you could fight them every so often driving them from their positions. That would be fun to do. Ambushing random encampments.

Huh, when I completed everything I could in Fallout 3, I'd just turn the difficulty to Very Hard, take Dogmeat with me, 2 Stimpaks, a combat knife and no armour. I'd then try and storm the town of Bethesda. That done, I'd move to where the unique respawning combat knife (Stabhappy?) was, while finally heading to the raiders wearing pieces of power armour and then trying to kill the Enclave at the bottom of the hill. It was fun while it lasted :P Unfortunately, I can't think of many places to do that in New Vegas, apart from kill Bighorners :/
