I just had the most curious idea of a DLC within a DLC. So take honest hearts for example its going to be in Zion National Park. Well say there is an entrance in the park to go to New Cannan in Ogden. Is this even possible if so what do you think?

Technically it would be possible, but it wouldn't be a sound business move since it would restrict the potential customer demographic to only those who owned the required DLC.

I think while it could be possible it'd just be silly I mean why would you want to travel to one DLC just to travel to another DLC.

Sure it's possible but highly unlikely.
They want to make sure everyone can play a DLC and not just those that have all the DLC's.
So for example, some gal is reading up on the DLC's briefly in XBLA, has enough points for the DLC within a DLC.
She buys it and finds out "Oh, sorry, you need Honest Hearts to play it."
Not gonna sit well with those that don't have HH.

So it's possible but not likely IMO.

They won't do it.

It'll be seen as a money grab- in order to play the second DLC, you MUST buy the first DLC. Not a problem for the people who bought the first DLC, but what about those who waited to buy the first DLC, and ended up not buying it based on the reviews?

If they make it so it doesn't require the first DLC, then it's not a DLC-within-a-DLC, yes?

Technically, however, it's entirely possible to make a DLC within a DLC. But it'll just create a lot of controversy, worse than the hated Horse Armor DLC.

Maybe Obsidian could make an entrance to another DLC within another DLC, as well as in the main game.
