I bought the game of the year edition when it came out but had to sell it awhile back. I installed all the DLC when I got it so they are still on my Xbox, then a few days ago I downloaded the original Fallout 3 game from Xbox Live. The Downloads tab says I have all the DLC downloaded, and it says loading extra content in the beginning but it acts like the DLS is not there. I have tried starting a new game, updated it via Live, those things didn't help. The only thing I can think of now is to uninstall the DLC and reinstall now that the original is on there. I would be great full for some help.

Did you patch the game all the way up? The DLCs will not load on an unpatched game.

Otherwise, as you say, you will have to reinstall the DLCs. Of course after making sure the game is fully patched. More than likely the loader does not know how to deal with the extra content since it was installed before the game was installed.

What do you mean by patched all the way? I ran updates on Live, beyond that I don't think so. and thank you for a speedy response.

So I just started the game up, everything is the same, played for a few minutes and the DLC loaded, I don't know why it just no decided to load but it did. Hopefully this fixes it. Thanks again for the fast response.
