DLC XBOX exclusive.... why?

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 11:22 pm

I belive it was stated early on that it was to be a timed exclusive, not a full exclusive. In the meantime XBOX 360 and PS3 users will stand there with their long noses while PC users get so much more out of the game due to mods.

Mods are not everything. I do not miss any Fallout 3 mod, so I will not be missing any New Vegas mod either. It gets a bit tiring to hear that the PC is the almighty greatest because of Mods. I am perfectly happy playing on the 360.

So I will not be standing here wiht my noses long. Why would you say that?

You are correct, that it's a time exclusive, not a full exclusive.

I really don't think you realize how much mods do for the game.

To be fair, free quick updates for PC gotta beat the hell outta that buggy xbox 360 version, not to mention I payed £25 for the PC version while xbox/ps3 costs £35.

Gotta give the consoles some reason why to buy the console version

other then the fact that we don't have to upgrade graphics cards every year? the good ones cost 100-150 and i could just buy another xbox or a PS3 for that.

I really hope your right :(

He is. They said the EXACT same thing for Fallout 3. And yet all those eventually were released for PC and PS3 as well. They wouldnt lose the millions of dollars by never making it on PC.

Well, I'm still using my 9400gt from 2 years ago and my PC visuals are a lot better then my PS3s.

OH I do, but I am content with Vanillia. When I finally had a computer that could run Oblivion, and I have modded it, I see what can be done. But I was so content with Vanillia, I don't really need mods.

One of the reasons why I am content with Vanillia. It looks I am not as computer savvy as other here who can get a graphics card for $50 that will last them for 3 years. I am tired of upgrading my card. Twice in one year once, years ago. So I have lernt to to play Vanillia games. :P

It's exclusive because Mircrosoft payed for it to be that way.

Honestly though, I think all of them will be exclusive to xbox at first. After they make a few then they'll release them to PS3 players as well. By this time next year, though probably sooner, everyone will probably have all DLC for New Vegas available to them regardless of what console they play on.

Common exaggeration of yours would be the "limited" usefulness (the "OMG, U HAV TO UPGRADE EVERY YEAR" argument) of a gaming PC, which can be in excess of four years without upgrades.

Like in my case. I love mah crappy 8600M GT because NV runs just fine on it! :foodndrink:
