DLCs?

Post » Sun Oct 17, 2010 6:23 pm

I think they will include more customization things, hopefully an extra mission for the story to add a little more depth, or maybe an extra objective put into one of the missions for each class to, again, add more depth and maybe a little more fun.

I don't think this is a pre-launch planned DLC, I think it's just think it's a good idea if they were to throw that out there. If they don't then that's fine the game will still be great.

And why do you hate it? :ermm:

Pre-launch DLC svcks because the content is allready there, they just don't give it to you so they can milk you out of your hard-earnd cash. (The Halo: Reach noble map pack did this, and i will never buy it.)

I doubt it'll happen. When I saw the 50$ price (which somehow managed to surprise me, seeing as they tend to be 60), and to quote from one of the Brink videos, these guys are making what they want to play. Not rehashed shooters that appeal to the masses so they can make huge profits.

Add some traditional game modes with DLC′s would be fine. But new customization options, weapons and maps would be fine, too. Maybe an advanced levelcap (25) with new some skills...
But I like DLC′s they expand the storyline most.

im not sure theyll raise the lvl cap just because the way they set up online, how its set up by levels like 1-5,6-10,11-15, and 15-20 hopefully they will tho

Don't think they will raise the level cap for this kind of game, they usually do it in RPGs/mmorpg/etc.

Zombies are played. That's one trend that needs to end.

1. Nazi zombies isnt only in blackops it was in call of duty world at war first, which was amazing fun and if it didnt have nazi zombies it would be boring after a month.
2. Nazi zombies in blackops is garbage and boring now and the backstory is completley destroyed and poorly made in blackops.
3. Blackops was too focused on nazi zombies that they failed at it and only reason blackops got even half the sales they got is because nazi zombie fans.
4. Brink has a respectable and thought through story and should not be ruined by adding a zombie mode, Blackops story was complete garbage and rushed trough, nazi zombies compensates for there story.

And that is my rant, dont mention nazi zombies or any form of zombies on brink again for it will be useless, i do enjoy zombies but brink is not the game for this at all.

The END.

I believe the entire rage over zombies began with Dead Rising and became extremely popular with Left 4 Dead. Don't get me wrong, there were zombie games before those two, but they were quite influential in the zombie craze today. World at War and Black Ops just took a critically-acclaimed series and successfully merged it with zombie survival, which is the reason why it's so popular and overrated.

I ment it was in COD:WaW first as in WaW had nazi zombies and came out before blackops, WaW had nazi zombies before blackops, some people dont know that and think only balckops has it, people also think that blackops was supposed to be in iraq against terrorists before, and after the release, then complan "WHERE ARE TEH TERRORISTZ", just shows you how "challenged" most cod players are today.

Yup, it used to be Nazi germany/imperal japan related zombies but now in blackops its soviet russia related zombies, and the non-canon pentagon zombie map "five".

And they also were talking about "Alien zombies" and "alien zombie terrorists" in a Area 51 map. There is no hope for these COD fans....tisk tisk.

DLC will probably include: New Maps, New Customization Options, New Weapons and Attachments, New Skins, maybe New Game-modes.

No new weapons, they delayed the game to balance it and just putting in new guns will make those extra months of waiting wasted,

Weapon SKINS on the other hand are fine but not sure if you would pay a extra few just so your gun looks different
