Does anybody know about the treasure in Falkreath? NOT Neugr

Post » Thu Jul 07, 2016 7:46 am

At least I dont think that it's Neugrad because I had already found that when I pickpocketed this note of a messenger that mentioned a treasure in Falkreath and somebody was asking somebody for more funds to assist in finding this treasure.

Like I said I pickpocketed this with my thief build but I was on my way to somewhere so I way going to find it later.

Im playing my 2H right now and dont want to switch HD to figure it out also im in Falkreath So id like to see if the note is required to activate the treasure.

Thanks for your time

Since I've never heard of this, I'm interested to see what people have to say.

I've came across something similar and wondering the same thing, if this is the same thing as when I pickpocketed a random encounter Courier and swiped his message off him. IIRC, the message hinted at something similar if this is not what OP is getting at. Can't remember for sure, but I think when you read that note, it simply puts a location on your map. Just like when town guards make random comments about a certain cave or nearby ruin. Then you get a little message in the top left of your screen saying "Map marker added." or something like that

Is this referring to treasure maps?? I know they exist but I've never looked into it or bothered looking for one.

No, he's referring to http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Courier%27s_Letter which is a radiant fetch quest. It could be anything, anywhere.

Because the treasure and location are randomly selected, we can't help much. Except to tell you the letter itself is no longer needed.

Ghastley is correct. As for those treasure maps, I've never been able to find them all or their associated treasures. Only a few and they are randomized each playthrough. Then again I haven't really bothered. They require your memory to be good enough to recall where the picture reference is from on each map
