You see I really want to find out who the guy is with the black helmet,black gas mask with red eyes and a black trench coat.
He is usually holding a .357 revolver.

every time you start at the main menu he's there.

He's a veteran NCR Ranger. You'll see them after you get a way through the main quest.

Actually, the Elite Rangers, seen on the cover and the main menu, only show up at the very end of the main quest.

Unless they are hiding out somewhere I've not been yet, but I've been damn near everywhere (<3 Explorer).

Haven't got the game yet, but when I do I'm defintely getting their gear somehow. It looks so badass ^_^

good luck. The elite rangers are as tough as nails and have a good eye with their sniper rifles. I accendtly pissed them off on the president mission which they took me out in about 1 second. I could not even react before I was dead. My 30 armor could not even save me. The must have 2 shot me.

Where is this hidden camp at?

Also, do these elite ranger wear a different armor than the veteran rangers? I always assumed the main menu guy was wearing the brown veteran armor.
