Does anyone actually like Skyrim?

I've noticed so many negative threads on Skyrim that I wondered if there's anyone out there who actually enjoys the game?

91 hours played and ive hardly just got Fus Ro Dah.

Ive been changing characters. I havent even done that many quests. :P
I didn't even play fable for 20 hours..

How can two games like Fable 2 and Skyrim be priced the same.. ridiculous.

Yes, we know you Morrowind elitists don't like the game. But I've noticed so many negative threads on Skyrim that I wondered if there's anyone out there who actually enjoys the game?

Why do people like yourself seem utterly alien to the concept that you can enjoy a game but have complaints about it? I am not trying to trash your thread here, I am actually addressing your point directly because you have missed a major part of the equation here.

It's a forum. It's thanksgiving. Do you really think tmost people who enjoy the game would waste their time on a forum? Most probably don't even know it exists.

I like it a lot, even though it sounds like i'm always negative about it. :P

Disappointing as an Elder Scrolls game, but still amazing compared to most other games.

"hater's gonna hate" seem's to be the right quote for this topic i guess. Some people are just too set in their way's.

that said i do actually have several valid reason's as to why Halo: Reach is a pathetic joke multiplayer wise compared to Halo:CE/2/3, but that's another topic for another forum entirely. :)

I accept that people can enjoy a game but still have complaints about it. But today I've read stuff like "That's it, I've had it with this crap, when will Bethseda ever learn?" but before stating that, they've also said "I've just put 1,368 hours into this game and..."

Most ppl love Skyrim. Those who have problems or dont like it - even if they be a small percentage, they can be 1,000s - then they will post their frustration here. It *seems* there are so many ppl, coz those who love it are playing it.

Give it a month, after patches and mods, and come back. You will be surprised.

I've played every TES game since Daggerfall, and I can say it's my favorite in the series. I didn't care for Oblivion in comparison to Morrowind, but I think a lot of people are making mountains out of molehills. It's a great game and while it's certainly not perfect it is an incredibly engaging and engrossing experience.

I have never seen a game community that needs so much hand holding and self assuring pyscho babble.

It's a good game. I do have issues with it, issues that have been posted and discussed.

I just wish that I could post a question when I encounter an in game issue, without being persecuted by the Bethesda Defense Force.

But that's just an extreme example of what I said, people can both enjoy something and have criticism of it.

I thoroughly enjoy the game but I recently lost something like 26 hours of play to an annoying bug/glitch. You can bet I was just as upset as the kind of person who would say what you wrote, but I got flamed like a BK whopper when I even dared mention it on these forums. Truly audacious of me it was, to complain at all.

Some people on this forum are so defensive about this game it's bordering on psychosis.

Despite my complaint about dragons spawning way, way, way, way, way, way too often, it is probably my favorite game of all time, and definitely the best in the Elder Scrolls series.

You're confusing complaints over smaller parts of the game with general dislike. I for example may not like the imbalance that crafting trees cause, but that doesn't mean I don't like the game - opposite in fact, it's one of the best games ever made, but it has potential to become even better.

I haven't had the pleasure of playing an ES game until Morrowind, which I loved at the time. Then Oblivion arrived and it had it's fair share of bugs but was a completely enthralling game nethertheless. Then Skyrim arrived and WOW I just can't get over how good this game actually is. And as a rule, I don't particulary enjoy RPGs!

I just don't get the hate this game is getting. Fair enough if it was as buggy as, let's say, Dead Island. But it's not.

You could say the same about Morrowind. People go MAD at me around here if I suggest that that game had it's faults. But for me, Morrowind isn't as good as Oblivion or Skyrim. But people let nostalgia rules their heads at times.

Let's face it... 5 million people bought this game in the space of two days. I doubt most of the people on this forum right now, "haters" and "fan boys" alike, ever played Morrowind.
