Does anyone happen to understand the C2 ending?

Thats Alkatraz . . . not prophet, plus what does he mean by we cant die just yet . . . he shot himself in the skull. Last but not least if its just Alkatraz calling himself Prophet now how did he magically adopt prophets voice? That and who was the guy with the terrible accent at the end? I was so confused.

Prophet's consciousness is still held in the Nanosuit.

Yeah, From what I gathered Prophets mind was "downloaded" into the suit so he is still there just not physically, And Alcatraz wasn't exactly the chatty type, so in the next game prophet might be your mentor so to speak, just like gould was in the campaign, sort of guiding you through the campaign maybe.

Alcatraz can't speak either since his lungs have collapsed, so maybe the Prophet AI is speaking for him.

The guy with the funny accent is Karl Rasch, the second part of the Hargreave-Rasch corporation.

Summary of all the posts above me:

Prophet's consciousness was downloaded into the nanosuit before he killed himself, also Alcatraz cannot speak due to his lungs collapsing when you got assaulted by the gunship in the beginning.Prophet's conscience most likely spoke for Alcatraz, and the guy with the horrible accent is Karl Rasch the co-CEO of the Hargreave-Rasch corporation.

^this^
plus as both died then came back I think they've become a combined entity, having a shared conciousness. This is why he says he is Prophet, despite being physically Alcatraz.

Thanks guys I understand this now, the problem is I dont think Alcatraz acctually died because his body is physically still walking, but I do believe prophets concious is the one using him.

This is how I saw it.....

The game starts with Prophet putting a dying Alcatraz into the Nano suit, Prophet is sick and unable to complete his mission, he knows this so makes preperations to give the suit to one of the Marines sent to retrieve him until the boat was attacked. The video flashback has Prophet telling Alcatraz...."remember me"

We then learn from Gould, that the suit is the only reason Alcatraz is even alive, with so much damage to him, which has also robbed him of his voice. So as the game goes on, we see the nano suit processing and absorbing the alien DNA to create the new anti ceph spores....during this time, the Suits AI, which had a symbiotic relationship with its true owner, Prophet...starts to act and speak like Prophet more and more.

At the conclusion to the game, the suit has 100% completed the hybrid absorbing of the Cephn nano tech and that of the suit....it has also bonded with Alcatraz fully.....so, Alcatraz is nothing more then the organic component of the Nao Suit...he has no voice and is pretty much a corpse in it without the suits life support system keeping him alive, the AI is now "Prophet"...what we have is a blend of the AI and the Suit...so whilst its Alcatraz in the suit....they are now one and the same, and the only voice..is Prophets

Thats how I saw it anyway

No Prophet was part of the Military/Government Funded Team.
Prophet Went AWOL and became a Fugitive and the CELL were ordered to kill him(mainly Get the nano suit) Then Hargreave Said to Capture him ALIVE but the the CELL and there Leader(Forgot his name) (That one dude who decks you in the face when your down) Refuse Not, not to kill you but are stopped right before they did. So then the CELL are Demoted to E-1 w/ no Clearance and are in Custody.

-----Anyways prophet went AWOL Because he found out Hargreave Knew the Ceph where there but the Raptor team was like a Test to see how Human Technology Can compete W/ the Cephs. So Prophet Got mad left to find a way to defeat the Ceph found out how but his DNA was Exposed to too much Ceph Virus Before the nano Suit could Become immune and make a "Cure" He knew he was dying but was trying to last as long as he could to share the "cure" but then found Alcatraz and gave him the Nano suit W/ the Partial Cure. everyone Else thinks its still Prophet till the End. But The Real Prophets DNA and memories are one W/ the suite so in time (by the end of the game) Prophet and Alcatraz are One, So Alcatraz takes the name "Prophet". That Alcatraz's Voice!

-------**** EPIC game! Great Ending.
I Think Crysis 3 will Be the Timeline Between 1&2 and we will find out what happend to Nomad and Psycho!
Also I think Nomads Suit was in Hargreave's Room where all the 4 nano suits(Rite before the Ceph Came in and the building Exploded) were wasn't it? Or am I mistaken?

I think it would be better if Crysis 3 takes place after 2. They could answer our questions about what happened between 1 and 2 during the game (flashbacks triggered by the Prophet/AI in Alcatraz's suit or even just conversation among characters). Or, they could produce a series of DLCs that bridge the 1-2 gap.

Basically, I think what happens next will be more interesting than what happened between 1 and 2.

Have You Even Played the 1st Crysis or are one them that think they know whats going on by the 2nd game?

2nd game Has completly different Aliens (same Ceph) but Different. And Different Characters.
