According to Steam, there doesn't seem to be a Mac version of the game.

Well yes not officially but I know you can use things like wrappers to port it to OS X so I was just wondering if anyone has some insight on how best to do this.

I put windows on mac (wife wanted a mac). Runs with mods on medium to low just no high intensive mods although i had funwith immersive creatures, top npc mods etc.

Problem with skyrim on a mac is Its very noisy and the graphics cards have trouble . Compared to xbox it has super fast loading screens but ctds sometimes. In the end ive decided not to continue taxing as its just not meant for Skyrim.

Depends on the Mac. Some macs have high-end graphics cards, and can easily handle it.

To do it, you have to create a Bootcamp Partition on your Mac's hard drive, and install a copy of Windows on it. Then you basically have a dual-boot machine that runs either Windows or Mac OSX. Apple provides a utility to create the partition.
