Does anyone do retexture requests for one head in Morrowind? Just to get a look I am trying to achieve but keep failing at.

What sort of face are you trying to do?

I was actually trying to create a celebrity head so to speak. I was taking a frontal pic of John Rhys Myers from the Tudors series and trying to place it upon a pre-existing head. Unfortunately, my skill in texture has the mouth misaligned and I cannot get the facial hair to sit right. I am not sure how to 'peel' and 'stretch' the skin like other professional made textures.

I only have access to a photoshop trial (still got like 20 days) and niftools which I was retexturing with. The facial hair makes the lips which I guess am not lining up with the lip mesh on the head I am using work well. I was able to just sort of 'paint' facial hair on one of Westly's heads so it sort of gets the look I was going for.

Also, thanks for making those awesome Redguards Illy!

Really, the pic can be used to make the texture, its more about UV editing on the mesh to get the texture to look right though........I hate dealing with UV's but I'm slowly progressing in learning how to with Nifskope.

As long as you're taking requests (from The Tudors, no less :P), It'd be great if you could do a rendition of http://lifeofaladybug.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c606d53ef0115709f554f970b-800wi as well. :deal:

I forgot to ask what race you wanted? He has a really broad nose which I've discovered needs a bit of work to get it to fit correctly - likely I can do something in the style of his face but I won't be able to exactly represent him - however let me know what race you were after and I'll give it a few goes - does he have to have the facial hair btw? I don't mind doing it have just found some other photos of him that are higher res without the hair.

Illumiel I would leave the picture choice to your best judgment. I think the Imperial in game would be too broad a face so Breton would be a better fit.

In terms of skin tone, I'd say that the Breton would be the best choice.

Okay citadel535 - I've had a go with 2 different photo sources and 2 different meshes

The first is using the traditional Rhedd head - Breton male head - using a phot similar tto the one you posted but somewhat larger as I work in 512x512 scale - this is it in http://a.imageshack.us/img827/4165/jrm1.png

The second is a younger photo of John from a very high res pic and I used Robert's teen Breton mesh for http://a.imageshack.us/img827/8645/jrm2.png

In both attempts I had to shorten his face by lowering his eyes and reducing the broadness of his nose in order to fit the mesh

If neither of them suit them don't be afraid to say - while i am happy with my elven male faces and female faces of all races - i still struggle to get what I desire with the nedic males - however was happy to attempt your request as I am so attuned to that frustration in your OP

If you do decide to go with the younger version and have difficulty getting hair to fit let me know as I often resize hair in Nifskope in order to match Robert's head meshes

You can download them http://www.mediafire.com/file/ekx4vgajg21eb6m/JRM.zip and try them out in game - no esp is done and you'll need to create your own filepaths as unfortunately i am having some difficulty getting Win 7 to set the correct texture filepath in Nifskope (sigh I had no problems with XP)

Illuminiel thanks so much for the head! I really wanted the facial hair and its just the look I was going for. Been busy with work lately so sorry for the delay as I really appreciate your time and effort in helping me :D

Also, for some reason it's working just fine for me on Win 7 64.
