already confirmed, well not explosives in a conventional way just that we can detonate some kind of barrels and also i think that some magical power will v'got this result.

And well about musquets that will be the WORST IDEA EVER.

that could kill elder scrolls series xD

they can't add a simple spear and you ask for a f&%$3n musquete!!

I wouldn't mind seeing alchemy do some things like smoke bombs or small explosives.

TES doesn't use any explosives.

And you are wrong, sir. The navies have been described as using cannons in battle. They would clearly need explosions. In addition, in Morrowind you use satchel charges to clear rubble in a tunnel.

I like the idea of simple alchemy based grenades. The Byzantine empire was using grenades filled with Greek fire as early as the middle of the 7th century.

the chinese culture use a LOT of mdieval powder based weapons, like freaking bazookas, and things like that i just dont want musquetes or things that dont belong to the medieval age.

also: a freaking chinese bazooka is a good weapon against a freaking dragon, isn't it?

No. Doesn't fit.
Does magic fit Fallout? No.
Do guns/explosives fit TES? No.

Please stop all these threads. There must have been 10 by now, and they're really annoying.

The irony of it all is that the Longbow and earliest muskets appeared and were used around the same time. There's longbows and crossbows in the Elder scrolls.

Better remove all those

The first handguns did not make it into Europe until the 1300's, via the "Silk Road." Although there were still Vikings, that part of history refered to as the "Viking Era" ended around 1066. I can not say about Nirn, however.

Gunpowder? For me, not now. Perhaps in some future game if TES does a pirate era theme. Late 1600's - 1700's Earth time.

The alchemy? Hmmm. Need to think about that one a bit.

Potions for blowing up locks would be nice, especially for warrior classes. If you are a warrior and don't have a Security skill or Alteration skill, why not buy a potion that can do the job!? It doesn't even have to explode, maybe dissolve rather!? In any other sense I wouldn't really like to see big bangs in Skyrim. Except them flashy fire spells and runes.

EDIT: I do know that there are scrolls available to unlock locked doors/containers,but potions would add to diversity. Just a thought...

I would love explosions in Skyrim, but I would rather it be magical in nature, and perk-based in Destruction for Fire. If anything else, Alchemy, but I honestly would rather it stay magical if it even comes as a idea for becoming a part of the game; explosions should be something special if it were ever introduced to TES.

Also, muskets and cannons? No. I'll take bows anyday thank you.
