I have been holding out on getting a PS4 until FO4 was released. (have actually been waiting since they even officially announced FO4, in case there were some exclusive DLC for a certain platform).

So do we think that they will release a limited edition PS4? Or do I just start shopping for a deal on a standard PS4?

I doubt it given that BGS seems to have a better relationship with Microsoft than they do with Sony.

Bethesda have confirmed there will not be any exclusive deals of any kind in regards to Fallout 4.....the game and all its DLC will launch simultaneously on all platforms.

No I don't think so..

They just announced the X Box 1 bundle. No special controller, or anything.

Only plus side I can see to a bundle this go around is that if you were going to get a bundle that came with a game, ajyway, it might as well be F4.

These bundles are only good if you don't already own the console.....especially if they don't have a special skin and even then it's too easy to buy an awesome skin and apply it to the console you already have. Same deal for controllers.

Hello OP, and welcome to the forums! As others have stated, I would be very surprised if Sony released a special PS4 bundle for Fallout 4. They may though, so who knows. I bought my PS4 last year when they announced the special White Destiny bundle. I don't play Destiny any longer, but the white PS4 looks really good IMO, lol

sony cannot do a limited edition as the marketing rights belong to Microsoft

Sony has COD and Battlefront and Destiny

i wish Microsoft would have done a custom console as they could have but chose not to do so.. gamestop is offering a fallout 4 faceplate along with the bundle

you also get fallout 3 included free as well as any other bethesda games that will become backwards comp, along with all of the other BC games

i doubt it but if you pre-order fallout 4 on the ps4's psn it'll download 2 days before the game releases on the 10th but i think xbox has that too. that's about as limited edition as your going to get i think. Welcome to the forums.

I think the thing to do is look at past bundles, and see if both companies have ever put out a bundle with the same featured game. If not, I wouldn't bet on it happening here.

No. Microsoft has the marketing rights for Fallout 4 hence; getting FO3 for free when you buy a copy of FO4 on Xbox one, getting mods first, the FO4 Bundle only on Xbox one, etc. The only difference this time around is that Beth decided not to make DLC a timed exclusive, great job on them for that.

You might as well get the Forza edition if you're that interested in the special console. The Fallout bundle is simply a normal Xbox One with Fallout 4 and Fallout 3. And I believe both of them are 1TB as well.
