That would make Crysis 2 the greatest game ever to exist indefinitely. Not that it already may be, but that would solidify it for me.

It would not work on a console. Anyone who has used Cryengine 2 Sandbox knows that a console controller simply is unable to replicate a mouse and keyboard. The menus would be horribly complicated to navigate on a console, as there would have to be a replacement to the File, view, windows, etc. Basically, you can want it all you want, but I don't see it happening soon.

Um, good idea.
But one minor flaw.

Lolwut? FAR CRY 2 has a "sweet" editor? Dude, you have used too much consoles. If you compare FC2 editor to CE2 sandbox, FC2 editor loses, hard, and sure. FC2 editor was too limited, and that, most likely, was caused due to it had to run on Consoles too.

Far Cry 2 had a horrible editor. Yes, it was easy, but nothing was special about it. I would like a console editor with the exact features the PC has, but I realized it would be so difficult to get use to.

I would preferably stick to the PC version of it, where you can do much more (Make your own assets, configs etc.), and have a keyboard and mouse.
