Does Bethesda love Lincoln?

At first I only realized the artifacts and the quest with Hannibal. I could see the connections in the quest, and the Lincoln stuff you could get was pretty cool.

But later I payed attention to Abraham Washington's dialogue. The guy glorifies Lincoln, and any president who isn't Lincoln says they are okay at best, and documents they wrote should have been written by Lincoln.

I also found a Lincoln shrine in Arlington Cemetary.

So does Bethesda have some weird fascination with him?

Well I mean Abraham Washington has notes on the Monroe Doctrine, he says Monroe svcked and it should have been written by Lincoln. Then there is the war address of WWII. He says FDR was an okay president, and that if Lincoln was president the war would have ended sooner. And Bethesda wrote all of this, and they made a shrine to him, and the only presidential artifacts are Lincolns.

If you ask me, he is highly overrated.
