The settings you choose on export can change things a great deal. I'm not good with Blender or the settings, but I've seen threads out there with suggestions on export settings for different scenarios
Thanks, I'll try and dig up the threads. Blender is a strange program. If you stop using it, it becomes a mystery to use again very quickly.
I mainly use the default settings (total modeling noob here), but played around with the settings like collision options, which by default is set to wood. Probably not good for NPCs. But those others do need some formal explaination. The strange thing is that the default import/export works for recent mods, but messes up older Eshme type clothes. It seems to alter the skin co-ordinates and merging it into the body mesh too. Maybe thats why none of the old Esme/ENmod clothes have been converted, or updated due to older nif data. If I run the original clothing mod, the CS always complains about the skin needing to be re-exported too.
I'm putting together a very basic clothing top from scratch to see if I run into the same problems.
