Honest question. Is the energy bar also the health bar?

I notice that when my energy bar is almost empty i die in one shot. It doesn't matter where they shoot me.....head, foot, hand, etc.

The more energy I have the more shots I can take. This is all happening whether or not I have armor on or not, it makes no difference at all.

This leads to me to believe that it should be called the energy/health bar. Which is complete **** because health should not decrease do to me sprinting or jumping or whatever.

I guess the only way to stay alive is to stand completely still when using any suit ability to lessen the drain and only move when not using it. (sarcasm)

the energy bar works similar to the to the sheilds of halo games. so no its not your health but it does affect how easily you die, when i first started playing this game i used stealth and hardly any armor but i didnt do so well but i later realized that if i only stealth when reloading/feeling like im in an unsafe situation but other then that i just try and maintain around half my energy at all times and i just switch into armor as soon as im done running or jumping so if i get jumped im prepared.
