Does Fallout get away?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 5:12 am

Do they get away with the bugs and glitches it has? I mean if a small budget game had that many bugs and glitches, it would have been panned and ignored, while Fallout: NV got away TBH. Just because it is a big budget AAA title. However, I admit NV is fun and very non-linear.

Hmm, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. had a lot of bugs and glitches, and was panned for it, though not ignored, and had a much smaller budget.

Every game you play has bugs and glitches, not just this game.

But Fallout has too many bugs and glitches. Don't deny it.

Glitches are a trademark of the Fallout franchise so yes, Fallout does get away with it. :disguise:

That's like excusing a pervert for jerking off outside your window, it's a trademark of theirs, so they're allowed to get away with it,

Trying to release "bug Free" software is next to impossible. There's an almost infiinite number of possible PC configurations, patch configurations, software configurations. As things get more and more complicated, more and more bugs are to be expected.

That said, there is also a level of "developer/publisher lazyness" as they think almost all of their customers have an internet connection they can just fix it later.

As for NV's Bugs. If you thought that was bad, you obviously never played Fo2 without patches. In all actuallity, fallout is getting better for bugs over time.

That's a relative statement. Too many glitches compared to what? Personally I have experienced an average number of bugs compared to other games I play and enjoy, Fallout doesn't stand out to me.

I'm sure that after all of the Bethesda releases, thing'll be different for the next Fallout. As long as we're patient. And as long as they don't try to redo it and just patch it up like NV.

Why wouldn't I excuse the perv? She makes me feel attractive, I'm just flattered by her perversion. :)

New Vegas was wretched on release day. Don't get me wrong I loved the game, but it was in a pathetic state as far as bugs and glitches. It was so bad it almost turned me off from buying it (I was playing on my friends PC, I ended up waiting until the Steam Xmas sale to buy it). Bethesda should have never let it through QA.

ummm... I knew what I was gonna type after I read the first post.... got kinda distracted somwhere in the middle of the thread.

Oh yeah bugs! There will always be perverts mastvrbating when a new game is released, just goes with the territory. Fallout does get a pass because it is a highly anticipated series and the perverts always seem to get fixed, at least the worst ones.

Somethings not right here....
