Apparently not, but it does have SSAO.

Whatever that means :hehe:

"Ambient Occlusion", yes. Whatever that means :teehee:

Edit: Ah, real time calculation determining how much light everything is exposed to.

Supposely, but the new Nvidia drivers profile don't let you select what setting for ambient oclussion like in the previous games.

i have an AMD GPU anyways, but in every game where HBAO+ exists it works just as well on AMD GPUs.

but i wonder if that type of AO even exists in FO4 or not. any type of AO other than HBAO+ doesnt look good, while HBAO+ looks great and doesnt effect FPS that much.

so i know AO exists in FO4, but what type?

Metal Gear Solid V only has ssao in its settings but I heard that you could enable HBAO+ in the Nvidia control panel but you have to disable MGSV ssao otherwise it won't work. Perhaps FO4 could be the same. I like HBAO+, it's more accurate and has better performance. The Witcher 3 has ssao and HBAO+ settings. It would have been cool if FO4 had soft shadows.
