When playing TES games, I frequently find myself referring to UESP for various details, background info, hints, etc. Does the Fallout universe have any sort of well-organized, detailed set of fan-written web pages like UESP? Thanks!

There are a couple of wikis – one on http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki and one on http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Fallout_Wiki.
I've read here on the forums that one is better than the other, but I can't remember which is which
Nonsense both wikis have basically the same content because they split for a while. Gamepedia one got money from Curse (which was presumably the main reason), also there was a tiny conflict about the prewar Enclave (pure speculation anyway because there isn't much prewar Enclave information in the games) and wikia wanted to have more community features to get more live in the wikis. There wouldn't have been a split if Curse hadn't put money in to fuel the conflict. Curse is good at splitting gaming communities as they have already shown great with Minecraft.
Both wikis are pretty much correct (as wikis can be). The split wasn't needed. But sadly some think they are better because they played Fallout 1 as it came out (I did too but hate this eliteism).
