So I was playing Fallout Shelter and while opening a lunchbox I got a special character named Wayne Fox, who wears a wrestling mask. Now I don't remember any character from any of the Fallouts named Wayne Fox, plus from the the E3 game play presentation we saw some sort of arena or something so a wrestling character would perfectly fit. But it got me thinking of other characters I got (I don't remember what their names were because my game just recently got fixed from the crash), and I think there may be clues hidden in Fallout Shelter towards Fallout 4. I'm not sure all about it, but what have you seen in Fallout Shelter that may hint towards Fallout 4?

Probably there's lots of spoilers in the game.. We just won't actually know they're spoilers until release. Wish they would release fallout shelter on pc.. I have no mobile platform that can play the game.

Been playing FS on my Windows tablet/laptop using Bluestacks. Works great.

Yeah, I've had a few lunchbox-gifted dwellers whose names I didn't recognize. I also have a unique plasma rifle called the Mean Green Monster, which could be a clue to unique weapons in Fallout 4.

Edit: Have a look in the Vault Dwellers Survival Guide in-game. If any dwellers you have are 'Legendary', they'll be shown in there. In my current game I've got Piper, Amata, Three Dog, and Moira Brown listed, so I guess the others that I got in lunchboxes were just random characters.

If the stats are anything to go off of it seems Piper will be a tank considering the amount of endurance she has.

I don't remember where I heard it, but I remember people saying Piper was actually Charisma heavy.

The Rare Dwellers (not legendary) are just randomized names with better stats. At first I thought the outfit pieces were all from canon Fallout games, but unless we find a costume shop in Fallout 4 I doubt that we'll be able to dress up as a medieval ruler, santa claus, a masked wrestler, etc.

They added a Survival Mode, though, which fuels the conspiracy theories that Beth actually included a NVesque hardcoe/survival mode into 4.

For people that have Windows 8 and up take a look at an emulator like BluStacks. You can google it and download, after which you can run the Fallout Shelter App on your PC.

I think there are several clues about what we can see in Fallout 4 that accidentally slipped into Shelter. For instance radiation sickness progressively lowers your maximum hit point value in Shelter, the same way that's its suspected to affect the player in Fallout 4, instead of the sudden endurance drops when you get to X level of rads the way it was in previous games.

One of the characters I got had Spock ears, here's hoping for some star trek references.

That just means they are wearing the Sci-Fi Fan suit. Don't worry. There will be numerous Star Trek and other Science Fiction references in Fallout 4 since Fallout 3 and New Vegas had them.
