Does it get worse?

"Well, well. If it isn't the Holy Crusader herself."

You should hear their tone, especially the Argonians and K'hajiit. That I'm a big shot that impresses no one but myself. If I were to do some things to break my score of all fame and no infamy then I will lose the favor of the Nine. If this happens then will they stop with the sarcastic greetings and go back to normal, or will it be something worse?

If the Divine Crusader gains infamy, the greetings you receive will be something worse.

My main character has 14 titles, Fame of 191, Personality of 98, and she doesn’t get sarcastic remarks like that for some reason. Maybe raise your Personality a bit, by hook or crook, and see if it doesn’t change.

I'm not 100% sure, cos its a while since i did it, but I think praying at all the wayshrines again would bring the comments back to normal and ''m at your service, sir knight,"

I went through this same thing after completing the KotN crusade with one of my characters,I gained some "infamy" points after starting the Thieves Guild quests and everybody I met started saying things like "I used to think you were the Holy Crusader but I guess I was wrong" ... things like that so I re-did the Pilgrimage to rid myself of the infamy points and things went back to normal. After becoming the Holy Crusader you either have to maintain that level of "goodness" or put up with the derogatory comments.....

The really negative comments come when (if) you gain infamy points, as others have noted. You can always redo the pilgrimage to reset your infamy. But the snarky comments just pop up from time to time; I'm not sure if they're based on disposition or what. I've always noticed they usually come from Dark Elves or Nords, so if you're hearing them from Argonians and Khajiit too then that makes sense to me, from a lore perspective. If you read the books about Pelinal and Alessia, you can see why non-Imperials might have issues with the whole Divine-Crusader/Nine-Divines-Cult/Imperialism-for-your-good stuff. Most NPC's will like you a lot though, especially if you walk around with the full set of relics and all their bonuses.
