does skyrim save your game saves on steam?

tonight i restarted skyrim, since i had to reinstall windows vista, i got everything installed and created my new charcter (this time my character is a female imperial and im a 47 year old guy) and i went to save my game and i noticed in the load my old game saves (does steam save them on their servers??) because they shouldn't be on my hdd since my reformat. :bonk:

Yes, Steam will store all your games by default under the Staem Cloud but you can turn it off under properties/updates if you want to.

Steam Cloud, when enabled, keeps some of your save files synced so that you can still use them over other PCs regardless of what you do to the PC unless you make changes to the syncing options. This is what I did with my current character when I switched PCs :D

thank you for answering my question, i think i keep it as is since its working fine (heck im getting pretty good performace since the graphics are set to 1024x768 since my old gateway lcd monitor can only go up to that and cant afford any new ones right now but the game's detail is set to high) :D
