What i mean is that, Sometimes in cloak ill be sliding and then colide with an opponent during the slide. At the point my suit energy is drained, as there was a small kick made on the opponent during the collision, but when I get up and applly the second mellee (2 for a death) my opponents don't seem to be dying and i'm pretty sure its not that they are just in armor mode. Has anyone else run into situations like this?

I killed a few with the slide. But they where almost dead anyways. Never killed anyone with full health. A Melee should be a automatic kill. it has been that way with all games. If yo can die with one shot to the head from a sniper rifle then a melee should drop you. I'm sick of fighting someone and applying a hit to the head 2 to 3 times only to die by someone close to me. I should hit and they should die and then i should be able to get out of there quick.

It simple.. the OHK melee was Oped thats why you don't have it.
... anyway I kind off like some of the duels that happen when people try to melee and I jump then smack them two. Learn how to melee. Its an art that has to be taught the hard way.

OHK melee is stupid anyway, and takes the fun out of (for example) having knife fights in CS

Whats OHK mellee? I have never killed anyone with a slide kick and its pretty hard to manuever.

yes it does damage, youll also see the hit indicator, but it doesnt do much damage

Haha.. all these melee thingies in Crysis2 reminds me of F.E.A.R multiplayer which is still free to download online.... except in fear, 2 melee punches kill.... but a slide kick and a flying kick in FEAR multiplayer is an instant kill....

anyway back to ur query... ive tested this out in Crysis2, and try this, in the middle of sliding when no one is around, press ur melee button... u will do a kick... try to melee slide kick someone in this manner, instead of the automatic kick at the end... ull get a better damage result...

2ndly, slide kicks have to hit directly... its easy to miss if ur sliding in the wrong direction and miss the enemy by a millimetre....
the main point is.. try to kill ur enemy before u automatically slide kick...cos by the time it happens, uve already missed.
another bad point is when the slide kick automatically happens because ur too close to an enemy, u cannot shoot...

so remember, do a manual slide kick by pressing melee as u slide approaching an enemy, press earlier and time it right...
and aim correctly
