I don't know about other people but we have had TONS of issues with this game. The first round of play we went at it ended up having corrupted saved data on it so we couldn't load the game at all so we had to delete all the saved game data on it and restart from the beginning. The second round of play we went at ended up having more corrupted data on it and ended up sending our entire PS3 system into a restore loop because the disk drive was corrupted with data. After resetting the entire PS3 to factory settings and losing ALL our saved data it seems to be working (for now). I talked to Sony to try and resolve our PS3 issues and they said they've have dozens of people call in with system failures/corrupt data after buying/playing this game so I definitely think that PS3 users are also having corrupt data issues as well as XBox and PC users.
:o
It corrupted ALL the data on your PS3 ?!!?!??!?! And a SONY staff member actually stated "It's because of Fallout 3: New Vegas." or words to that effect? I've never had any issues of this magnitude, or even the save issue originally referred to. All I've had is the random ones, like E.D. / Rex going berserk; a Super Gecko flying 100 feet to bite Veronica; death cam showing a rad-scorpion falling into the earth, then below the map, and then into this bizzare world of vertical lines.
I've never had the game crash while saving either, but I also turned the save game feature off on most of the options.
I am still stunned that a SONY staff member would actually single out a product, even though it might be warranted, like that. The liability is insanely large to do so; they must have had some real issues.
