Does the snow acumlate on the ground?

Simple question lol. See I play on Xbox, and from what I heard snow was supposed to form snow banks after it falls (simulating real-time snow).

But I do not see any of this happening when its a total blizzard in the tundra/mountain areas. Do you need a PC with higher graphics to run this or am I totally mistaken on how the engine was intended to run.

Thanks.

At best Todd and Pete said "dynamic" snow. This could mean almost anything. My guess is they built the world without snow (not excluding the ground texture) and let the game decide where snow would appear on objects. This way, they don't have every object looking the same in the snow because the game was able to decide where it fell on them.

If that's the case, they weren't lying. They were just stretching the truth...

... as usual.

'Dynamic snow'.
What they said was roughly weather patterns would impact on the terrain. Snow would show up if it was snowing and fade when sunny.
What happens is a texture replacement during snow in certain areas, to simulate snow.
Advertising gimmick.

The problem arises because people read the statement and heard...
There will be snow, it will fall and accumulate and pile up in big fluffy banks of awesomeness.
Snowmen! Snowball fights!!!
They then complained about being lied to.

Expectation management.

It adds a whit texture to certain objects under snow, that's about it. Your chestcover will get whiter.
