So does this mean Levitation probably isn't gonna happen?

All I see thats obsessed player who find flawed feature and want get rid of it by any reason, instead of make an proposal how to improve feature, let me ask enchanting spellmaking alchemy and spears also game braking for you?

No, those aren't game breaking. Enchanting and Alchemy are skills in Skyrim as well.

Yeah, for PC players...

That's just a guess. they designed Daggerfall, and Arena with levitation too, Oblivion has been the only one WITHOUT levitation, and that was likely because of closed cities... and I haven't seen any closed cities in the screenshots yet, and even if they have walls doesn't mean they will be separate cells.

Arena didn't have levitation as you're thinking of it. Levitation in Arena was basically only water walking. Arena's cities were also closed and Arena ran on a 2.5D engine, so levitation as you're thinking never would have worked with Arena, anyway. You can't even look up or down in Arena.

It would have to be a two handed spell that constantly drains your magicka. Otherwise...

I think it's just a funny way of saying "no levitation".

Except for the fact that it's not in the game.
inb4 you deny Todds words as actual proof of this.

So what? I still want it. Not to mention, if your citing the three questions Todd avoided in the OP, then thats definitely not confirmation. The guy asked Todd three silly questions and Todd gave him three silly answers.

I wouldn't really say it's 100% concrete proof...

Pretty much everything that Selbeth_The_Winged_One said in #18. For me, $0 - I don't *do* "milking DLC's" (or any DLC for that matter), although I do understand why they'd want them (keeping inhouse content makers busy).

As for Levitation, sure I'd like to see it. But way different and less convenient than in MW. I don't want it to become a means of travel, but an alternate way of solving problems. So if we have fire spells that can be used as a flam thrower, the same could apply to levitation; limited time (due magicka drain) and power (max height/weight reduction) based on skill in that school. I've explained it elsewhere how levitation could replace a whole lot of current spells (slowfalling, feather, water walking, levitation, and probably others).

Hell, there could even be restriction so it would only work indoors (maybe even only some indoor cells); exposure to the sky prevents it from working (or whatever game excuse is needed). I want levitation, but the old ways were just bad. It's a pretty important part of magic, yet I don't want it to be convenient flight. I want power back in magic, not just convenientness.

I don't like Halo. And it can very well be game breaking. I'm so happy I can be confident when I say it will not be in Skyrim.

Seems like it can't be that popular if 80+ people aren't even willing to pay $1 for it. This poll makes me happy.

Hah!
Perfect example of selective reasoning.
I do it too, as I interpreted it to mean: We want it in for free, we dont want to pay.

Gamebreaking?
Im sorry youre wrong.
Levitate to the Hlormaren stronghold just west of Balmora and attack those atop the highest level.
Guaranteed theyll fire arrows and spells at you. Try it at level five and its death.
All this nonsense about overexaggerating flaws that Morrowind did have, yes, but did also already show perfect examples on how it could improve is just fallacious.

I think I read somewhere that open cities are confirmed. So if that's true then I would say that levitation is very possible. There are huge mountains and using a levitation spell could prove to be very useful. I know I would like to use one for them 7,000 stairs we have to climb.

Rofl, people who want Levitation are the ones who would fly up and abuse the poor AI in Morrowind. Or they would sit on rooftops and spend 20mins putting arrows into a Guard.

No I honestly cannot see the need for that. Do I really care? No, Id just never use the spell myself.

Dont think youve ever read any thread on levitation ever, including this one.
The main reason levitation is a good idea is because it allows for a truly three dimensional world.
I thought Morrowind did it quite well, with its airborne enemies and areas only reachable by levitation.
Can be improved upon? Why yes, certainly.

Overpowered or only there to be abused?
Im sorry that argument has been disproven to death so many times youd think theyd installed a revolving door to the underworld.

From King Edward, part XII

"Moraelyn asked with a smile, 'All right then, I've always wanted to know this - considering the shape of your mouth and teeth, how do dragons manage to speak the humanoid languages so clearly?'
Akatosh paused, and then carefully responded, 'Why, in much the same way that we can fly, even though our wings are not naturally strong enough to support such heavy torsos.'"

Dragons fly using the voice apparently, and in one of the gameplay footages you see a camera flying through the sky. It is probable that that is from a cinematic, as I doubt they would accidentally leak something in that manner, but it may be you learn the dragon shout for flight.
