Does Ultimate Edition of FONV have all the patches?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 7:17 pm

I know it has all the DLC, but I could not find confirmation anywhere that it has all the patches in the disc. I would assume it does, but wanted to verify before I buy the game for an Xbox that is not connected to the internet.

Yes it's the final, most up to date version of the game.

Also, as you may know, in addition to the 4 DLCs it also has the Gun Runners Arsenal and all four original Pre-Order packs (whch they call The Courier's Stash).

I was very happy with it.

HOWEVER. if X-Box is like the PC and uses Steam, then you are going to NEED an internet connection to activate it. But once it's activated then you can play offline no problem. Maybe someone with X-Box can confirm this requirement.

Oh then you're fine. There won't be any updates no worries there. It's just the activation requirement.

The Ultimate Edition comes with

The Latest Patch, which is huge because it makes the game very playable. 65 hours in with the Ultimate Edition on 360, no freezes and only issues I have are typical Gamebryo issues.

Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Gun Runners Arsenal and Courier's Stash. In addition to New Vegas.

It's worth getting.

No internet requirement is necessary for 360, just put the 2nd disk in, install, and then afterwards play the 1st disk.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping because it is a pain to pack the Xbox up and cart it off to a houshold with an internet connection.

Yep! FONV has been getting such good press over on the Skyrim forum, I thought I would try it out. I really enjoyed Fallout 3 and am only halfway through that game.
