Does your health rengenerate?

Are buffs timed temporary, or just never regain when after you lose them until you get a medic?

Any health buff lasts until you lose the health, afaik.

Wraith...

You might want to re-read the part I quoted.

He said being a Medic added an extra pip TO THE ONE HE ALREADY GOT FOR BEING A HEAVY.

Not saying that the guy who wrote it is 100% infallible, of course, but the way he's worded that says Heavy body adds an extra pip, rather than extending the base health.

Heavies can mediums have a larger initial bar than lights.

Watch closely this vid. http://www.youtube.com/user/vREVOLUZZERv#p/c/00CA9134C25874B4/7/LYvHZuc_wXw

I'm going to have to agree with Wraith on this one. In the video he linked, the heavy soldier with the minigun at around 1:37 clearly has a larger health bar than the light engineer with the pistol at around 2:32.

Perhaps the RPS reviewer was simply misinformed? Or maybe he was making an educated guess?

After watching that closely, I'll go with Wraith's evidence over the reviewer - my comment was based on his wording, not video evidence - I know which I'm more likely to believe.

Could have been either. I don't remember seeing an icon for medic increase besides the buff.

Pretty sure the golden gun stays until death. There's a chance it's until incap instead, but I'm leaning toward death.

I know for sure it's one of the two though.

From what I've heard RPS is a quality review/preview site, so I certainly don't fault you for taking what the reviewer said at face value - I might have done the same. But yeah, gameplay videos have the advantage of not having any chance of being misinformed.

Its until death. Remember NHS there are several types of buffs. Damage, armor, health, speed, supplies (maybe)

Buffs of any and all kinds last until death. being revived via Medic doesn't count.

But when you lose a health pip that's there from a buff, you don't regenerate it until a Medic heals you.

At 4:44 a medic revives only fills you main health bar not extra pips.

Pips will regen by themselves if they aren't fully destroyed.

It looks like the medic buff will add the buff and put you at full.

So basically if you never die, and keep getting revived/healed by medics but you have health buffs, you're gun will be glowing for the whole match?

Your gun glowing is weapon damage buff, not health buff.

If you get the weapon buff from an ENGINEER, then don't die the whole match, your gun will glow the whole time.

What if you are incapacitated?

Okay; I'm still alittle hazy on how the health buffs will work, but I guess we will all see when the game releases.

BTW, has anyonw realized that the vote percentages add up to 99.99%, not 100%?! IT'S A CONSPIRACY, I SAY!!! 0_?

Health additions can be self things: battle hardened perk, boost from CP, or medic buff.

Only the medics buff can return extra health pips to full once they have been taken out.

Internet polls are taxed one one-hundredth of a percent (0.01%), meaning one out of every 10,000 people who contribute to it mysteriously vanish into nothingness. It's how the world wide web sustains itself. Just ask Al Gore.

It's because of rounding.

If there's a 0.003 on the bottom of each percentage, it gets rounded down, meaning you're missing 0.01%
