Does your OCD hinder your TES gaming experience?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty OCD when it comes to Stat games like TES series. Often times I've made new games JUST because I messed up some stat somehow. I've stopped playing Oblivion right now completely (though I WILL go back to it) simply because a LARGE reason as to why I personally enjoy the game, is for playing the game the way I want to, that is, in my own obsessive compulsive manner.

I stopped right now cause I was trying to complete ALL of Daedric Shrine Quests all at one time, one right after the other. Well I then I recalled that there's forced killing, and forced stealing, etc. Now it's sort of a Catch 22 with me as I DO want to complete ALL the Quests in the game, yes, but to leave my Stats as I want them. Granted for the 'forced' kills, stealing, etc, I don't mind that. I just realized that I have to get a big bounty to finish a Quest, the Sanguine Quest. I haven't joined the Thieves Guild yet, but upon trying to as to get rid of my bounty, the Argonian doesn't not appear, thus not initiating the start of the Thieves Guild. Thus I have stopped, frustrated by multiple things.

Same way, anyone?

Have you been messing around in the dungeon of Castle Leyawiin? If you unlocked a certain cell there, then that's where he is, and it's an almost impossible task to get him back to the waterfornt.

I've never started a new character because of stats. Beginning stats choices don't matter much at higher levels.

I have, however, started over because I wanted to change some insignificant detail about the looks of my character. *sigh*
