So I was looking through a mod and thought this re-texture looked amazing...

So I downloaded it. But as soon as I try it on my game...

It just looks nothing like the mod lol. Does your Skyrim looks dark and dull like that or is it just me? I always thought the graphics in Skyrim looked dull and weird, specially the super unrealistic shadow, even Fallout looked (ironically) more vivid.

Your pic isn't coming up for me, but have you experimented with your graphics card settings?

I got 1gb graphics card and I'm playing on near-max settings, it doesn't like or anything, it just looks weird and I wanted to know if it's intended to look like that.

Seriously? I didn't thought it could be any worse than that on consoles lol, and I'm playing between high-very high settings. Does it also looks dull and dark on the console version? To be honest, even Oblivion had more realistic lighting/shadows. lol

Your graphics settings are probably quite different than those being used to take that first screenshot. If you check the mod description page, the graphics effects being used may be listed, so you can tweak your settings to make it look more like the screenie (if your hardware is capable of it, of course).
