That's what the conjuration skill is for.

Yes, I would love to have a dog!

They should implement it the same way they did Dogmeat in FO3.

Nah... Personally wouldnt think it would fit having a dog accompanying you while killing ogres, daedra and other such stuff. That aint no place for a dog, yknow? But sure, having a dog included in buying a house wouldnt be too bad, I guess. If it was just walking around, barking, sitting, and doing nothing special.

EDIT: AND DRAGONS! What a tyrranic dogowner would bring his dog to be toasted by dragons?

Yes for pets, especially with unmanageable AI, to make them seem more realistic. But I think with that, there needs to be a temporariness to their existence. I feel like companions should not be too powerful and should die permanently.

Added me a pet guar, and then some cats in Oblivion. Both sadly would be out-of-place.

Maybe a psychotic wolfie ?

A pet crow or raven would be cool. It could sit on your shoulder when walking around cities.

Haven't heard anyone complain about the pet skinned hound from Shivering Isles, so it's probably a welcome feature.

It'd be cool having an attack dog by my side.

I think mages should get [optional] permanent familiars (and in this one case, I'd agree with the NPC free perk thing from FO:NV, as it would then make sense, and make sense that they'd lose it with the loss of their familiar).

Wardogs could be a feature of the Fighter's Guild no? (even armored ones :P)
