so far i am loving dogmeat. i have seen him rip off a ghoul's head, great graphics. now he barks at me that he has found an enemy, so i follow him a bit. he has his nose to the ground sniffing, growling, i am like, what is he going on about? we are walking around a BIG building. i am thinking, its a bug, he is detecting someone IN the building. just as i am about to give up, i turn a corner and there is a Forged sitting there..........

I also heard he is used to get items out of locked containers; but I don't know about that, I don't take that dog with me.

Sometimes when I come back to Red Rocket I surround him with mines then shoot them.

Dog is great and very well animated

Me personally, I can't stand the dog. Always gets in the way in combat, always gives you away when sneaking, has to have the worst path finding of any companion and is just outright annoying.

To be fair the other companions aren't much better, unfortunately the most annoying award for companions has already been happily accepted by Danse

But he's sooooo adorable! Especially when you put little goggles on him, awww!

I can not stand the dog. I dislike most companions but he is right next to piper with her falling off of everything... But it is cool other people do like dog.

Dog is awesome, take him with me everywhere.

He's great. The only things I don't like are:

- His whimper. I can't stand it. It sounds pitiful

- The inability to pick and pack items on his own
