Everytime I go to the Drumlin Diner, Dogmeat "finds" something. He runs a little and then sits and looks up at the sky and wags his tail.

So am I missing something and the thing he wants me to find is near by or is he looking at something up in the sky? Is this pretense to more UFO's as a random event/DLC add on? Or is it a bug?

If he can't reach it physically himself, that's what he does. Looks up at the sky or digs in the dirt underneath or... So there's probably something nearby and "above" - could be upstairs, on top of a shelf, on a roof, etc. Could certainly be a glitch at times, but usually if I look hard I find what he's all excited about. I haven't been to that diner myself yet so I can't say for sure.

The mechanic isn't the most precise.

Yeah he did for me too. I think the things he "finds" are simply tagged objects and the tree in front of the diner was accidently tagged.
