Interesting, but, how would the dog know that after many generations and 200 years?
I mean, if you put it in the animus for a bit, maybe it would figure it out. But I don't think the dog would know.
Doge: "Bark!"
Translation: "Yes, human. Our people have told tales of you, and your coming. That one day He Who Fills The Kibble will return from the Deep Hole. This story, and tales of many belly rubs and thrown balls, have been passed down from litter to litter. And now it is my turn to honor the ancient promise."
Dogmeat is the true Chosen One. The former denizen of the steel cave is merely a false prophet.
That's what I'm gonna use as the Dogs inner monologue.
"Human, I know you are wanting me to go fetch that mine out there, and my honor forbids me to refuse you, but I will be requiring much Brahmin steaks within my dish for my task accomplished. Otherwise, if it blows up, I will poop in your shoe while you sleep."
That sounds like it would be fun. I know it would be controversial, but I think it would be cool if there was an option to equip something like the collars from Up, so your dog could speak human. Of all the far-fetched technology they've developed in the Fallout universe, they've totally neglected what could be a nice feature.
I just hope I that he doesn't have a preset name because I wanna name to make him feel more personal to me.
there is your dlc idea, day in the life of a fallout canine! Fallout Pup! Spend a day adventuring as a dog, sleep with [censored]es! run with a pack, pee wherever you like! New smell-O-vision allows you smell the game!!! lmao
I think the mutation dogs went through turned them immortal. Like that immortal jellyfish, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turritopsis_dohrnii , when the dog gets old or sick it will simply revert back to puppy stage.
im going to have this running through my head every time i see him now lol
