Okay, so here is the problem.

I bought FNV on release date, and gave up because the game was unplayable since I didn't have a PC at the time, and had to settle for the xbox version. Now I am reliving all the grief with trying to get my new pc version to work. Dogs show up as glowing red and white markers. I'm assuming this is because of the 1 file it keeps failing to verify on steam, but I can't get steam to replace it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, ran as administrator, and I tried deleting the .blob files. Keep getting the same problem. I figured after this long I could enjoy the fallout experience without anguish, but really its just getting ridiculous.

I've already tried to get help from Steam support, and students at my university. Nothing is working. Please help!
