Well.... is there a way to have a dog ? and it follows you ?

I mean like a Companion or Lydia you know ? Is there a way to buy one or domesticate/tame a wild one ? Something like that.

I would love to have a Dog, not just to follow me, but it would be really cool when i come back home after a journey and there it is, my Wife and my Dog. ;D

I have no idea if it's actually possible to buy a dog, but I know you can keep a stray from one of the random encounters.

At the Markarth Stables, one is sold.

They're sold at other areas, but I'm not sure where.

Also, i would love to see a mod that makes diferent Dog Races... in Skyrim it seems that all the dogs look the same..

I would LOVE to have a Labrador, or a Golden Retriever or a German Shepherd.

I have found one in an abandoned house just south of Solitude, not very far from the docks. But after 10 minutes I've sent it home, it keeps barking and barking and I couldn't stand it.

I only know about the markarth vendor.

And yes, I agree, those war-dogs dont look intimidating at all.

If you want one that never dies, and is free, go to Falkreath~ Get the quest 'A Daedra's Best Friend' and after you are told to find the axe, just dont complete the quest~
