Short answer to the question the topic is posing:

No.

Long(er) answer:

I've heard that implementing splitscreen is a drain on memory, and the game pushes memory to it's limits as it is. I wouldn't want to cut any current features for something that a lot of people aren't going to use.

I don't see how the PC graphics could get any better tbh.

i dont believe that for a second halo combat evolved..every halo game and Cod game and Almost every fps has split screen...and by the way it can't be to hard because halo reach has twice the amount of content than BRINK..Cod Most the COD's probably don't except a few cuz they are very single minded. anyways the point is it can't be that hard if games with more content and better graphics can do it

wow that is very dissapointing i want that Brink. the menu at the command post was way better and the options for missions were cooler.. The xp coming off the dead bodies was sick and i don't know if you guys noticed.. he was a light weight cuz he got up on the beam and he was holding a heavy weapon loadout.. i honestly want that brink..

look here johnny. split screen would be great. the only reason they didnt add it has nothing to do with graphics/ memory. because these issues would only occur when using split screen themselvse, they just zoom it out and half the color definition... (ok lighting changes big deal has nothing to do with graphics.) i myself have designed split screen games. (they svcked but meh besides the point.)

they didnt implement split screen cause for 1. they didnt have time 2. bethesda probably forced them to release months, i mean months ahead of schedule, its obvious with the coming dlc (so soon) the rendering problems and the lack lust textures/ graphics.

the game looked soo much better 2 years ago cept it didnt have smooth menus but i wouldnta cared, WTF put the beatiful back in brinks bastards

If there were no memory-cons in adding the feature then YES!

Unfortunately there is, so no; and that's from someone who hardly ever buys a game unless it's got Splitscreen for my bro.

Borderlands has SS.

And it's terrible. The majority of maps/areas in Borderlands are waaaayy too horizontally-focused... vertical SS works for some games, linear ones like AoT, but not games where you can get swarmed or shot at by enemies from all directions at once.

Or it could just be that I don't think I'd ever played SS in 16:9... still, I would actually play Borderlands SS if it wasn't vertical.
