Don't EVER marry senna

Post » Sun May 18, 2014 12:34 pm

Honestly, she complained breeze-home was to small, which is completely understandable. So i build a home in falkreath and now shes yelling at me about wolves, bears, and spiders, saying "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING SENDING US OUT HERE!"

I thought she was a tough lady since she complains about cooking for me, but NOPE.

I just wanted to find an npc with that Voice actor.

Don't ever marry full stop. Leaves more time for adventuring and less time for nagging imo.

She's a priestess of DIBELLA!!! so the complaining about homes doesn't bother me.

Unfortunately anyone with her voice actress(are there any other marriage candidates with that voice?) would have the same marriage dialogue. Anyone with Aela's or Njada's voices also say the same. Only place they are happy is Proudspire Manor.

Aela does the same thing, but you know what? I don't mind. Who wants a wife that always agrees with you anyway? "Yes dear, that's a great idea." "Yes dear it's lovely!"

BORING. All the reasons she gave are perfectly valid ones too. What wife would really be 100 percent happy with the dovahkiin anyway? Especially with adopted kids you dump on her while you leave.

I suppose it's just a bit of dialogue, Senna is essential anyway so can't be killed by bandits. Its funny though that they decided to have a "huntress" who hates living outside the city walls.

Who better than a huntress to know what dangers lurk outside the safety of the city? She's thinking of the kids, man!

I like http://uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Hilund. A housewife, but is actually worth a damn during dragon/vampire/bandit attacks. And she's a wilderness type chick.

OH WOW, my steward (female) just talked to senna and said somthing along the lines of:

steward: oh hi!

senna: let me know if... big strong men around

*both laugh simultaniously*

senna: oh come on don't go away mad

It really startled me. I've never heard them interact before.

Ummmm, yeah. Nobody but dead people and undertakers would want to live in Falkreath. Nobody.

What were you thinking? It's not like the shoebox of Breezehome and forsaken Falkreath are the only options. Did you talk over living arrangements at all before marriage? If no, you have only yourself to blame. svck it up and deal. :)

I suppose you assumed you'd "marry" some npc and they'd just bring you food until you stopped coming home. You must be new here.

Weird...I've heard that before between Hulda and Saadia in the Bannered Mare, but never in a HF home. It must only happen between NPCs with those two voices actors (actresses). I'd assume your steward shares the same voice with Hulda then, because Senna uses the same voice as Saadia.

This. There should be a Male Nord voice involved in that conversation as well, but for some reason it seems to trigger a lot without him. My thief had (modded) Sapphire as his follower/wife, she has the same voice as Senna/Saadia, so I heard that conversation a lot in that playthrough, mostly without the male voice. The male will try to pick them up asking them if they need a big, strong man, that's how it's supposed to start.

I guess it's a good thing that I usually marry Mjoll the Lioness. They make a good pair, as they're both adventurers, and she doesn't complain much, though she's excessively chatty when adventuring.

Those religious types Sir. You will always be second in their heart to the great big spaghetti monster in the sky.
Never quite measure up so to speak.
May I recommend a warrior type? You know, a pure-bred stone killer.

Can she be a follower or only through mods? Can she be turned into a vampire?

I think almost anyone can become a vamp (VIA console commands).

Never tried it on senna though.

NOT through console commands, Being turned is a scripted event and so cannot be done with console commands. Only through mods can you turn others into vampires

Lets see you are out in the forests of Falkreath and you have her live there with kids. There are wolves, spiders, bears, bandits, and a necromancer (sometimes a conjurer) in said woods. Not to mention the random giant or dragons. I do not see any reason to complain /sarcasm
